EVISA: Background

After studying sports at college Scott Taylor decided to get a job in a gym as soon as he had his Level Two.

Starting off in Leisure Centres, Scott wanted to be more involved and hands-on so decided to start work with Virgin Active, thinking that a bigger corporate club would provide him with the training he needed to become a Personal Trainer.

Having met his partner there, in their spare time while working part-time at the Leisure Centre they were business-planning to eventually opening their own club.

Scott and his partner decided to open their own club in Derby in 2010 which started with just the two of them and a part-time coach.

Ten years on and Scott now has a full-time manager, six full-time coaches, a physio and a cleaner! Specialising in 1-1 coaching, semi-private coaching and small groups, they also have a gym available for members to use in their spare time along with studio classes.

The challenge

Scott’s gym has grown significantly and it was important to improve and streamline his marketing processes and performance in order to give him time to focus on other others of his business and of course, to have some time for his personal growth.

How we helped
